Contractors All Risk insurance covers all risks that are normally associated with construction projects.
Hensure can facilitate two types of policy: Contract Works and Contractors Plant and Equipment. These policies are available separately, or together.
Contract Works insurance covers permanent and temporary works executed in performance of the contract and materials for use in connection therewith.
This policy can cover your own plant and equipment and also any plant that you may hire in from a hire company.
This policy will not only cover you for the cost of the equipment hired in, but will also cover the cost of the hire charges for each day that the rental company cannot hire out the machinery as a result of the loss.
The insurance covers circumstances where the plant and machinery are damaged or stolen.
What would happen if during the build phase of the project, there was a fire on site that destroyed all of the work completed so far? You would be responsible for ensuring that all of the work was done again and would have to foot the bill for all of the costs involved.
You may also have plant, equipment and other tools that are on site and need to be covered for loss or damage.

After completing a Bachelors and Master’s degree at University, Ross moved into the insurance industry. He has several years of experience in the insurance industry, having worked for a number of well-known Insurance companies prior to moving to Insurance Broking.
Ross is a keen climber and recently took up a new hobby of canoeing.

John has 25 years of insurance broking experience. John has been awarded the Advanced Diploma in Insurance by the Chartered Institute and has also been awarded his Certificate in Financial Services.
John is a keen sportsman having played rugby at local level for both Penrith and Sandbach.
He was captain of Sandbach squash club for many years and still plays for the team in the local leagues.
