A client had contacted us regarding a new company they had set up.
Activities to be undertaken by the company included groundworks including foundation works and Civil Engineering works, relating to connection of roads and drains to existing networks.
The client required cover for their General Liability Insurance, Contract Works and Professional Indemnity insurance for contracts with overall values in excess of £6M.
Given this was a new company, as well as the nature and complexities of the activities undertaken alongside the current difficult PI market, this was not a straightforward task.
However we quickly secured the relevant information required before approaching the market and successfully secured offers to cover all the areas needed by the client.
We were able to develop policies that provided cover to meet their insurance requirements and support the business needs whilst remaining competitive, offering savings of over £3,000 when compared to the alternative quotes they had sourced.
